I would love to see Stoops reaction if the situation were reversed. He would be saying "how could there even be a debate about this?" Mack Brown is one cool cat. No way Stoopsy shows this much class and composure. Every year they say how the Red River Shootout is so important and frequently has BCS implications. Well if OU jumps Texas tomorrow they can just go ahead and cancel next years rivalry game cause they are telling you its not such a big deal. This would also make perfect sense to why there is no playoff system. They want to hand pick teams and play thier little chess game. This team is hot right now.... This is the matchup I would love to see.... Their uniforms are so pretty.... GET IT RIGHT MORONS!!!

Mack Brown is a douche bag....no has ever done less with more than mack brown...his only nat'l championship was because of one player...they would get killed by florida even if they get lucky and make it to the bcs championship game

Your SEC blinders make you sound like you only watched a few teams this year.Florida has not played a team the caliber of Texas ,OU ,or even Texas Tech. Sure florida could win against these teams and hell i hope they would beat OU (which is a better match up cause Ou cant play D like Texas.)I can understand not likeing Mack if you have a problem with winning every year? No team in college has more 10 win consecutive seasons . Really? you want to take credit away from the 2005 Title game. You sound silly. USC defending champs that destroyed OU year before and had ESPN comparing to them to the greatest college teams ever. BLINDERS, you wanna talk about blinders....what do u call your lover affair w/ Texas? I don't care about conferences, the SEC is "usually" top to bottom the best. The Big 12 south is w/out a doubt the best division in football (arguably ever) this year..but don't tell me vince young, i mean texas..was better than USC that year. And this great defense that you speak of, hell all texass played was TT,OU this season they gave up 39, and 35 in those games...but they did however shutdown Florida Atlantic and A&M...too bad they didnt' handle their business and make it to the Big 12 championshit game.

Another glass of Haterade drank buy Parf. My lover affair is all about where I grew up. Cant help that I was so lucky to inherit winning teams. A love affair would be more like rooting for a team 1000 miles away. Example.. Say someone loves the Boston Red Sox but lives in southern LA. Maybe they took a vacation there and loved the city or have a cousin that lives there, or looked Nomar Garciapara in the eyes. Who knows but thats love.
However you want to word Parf, Texas 41 USC 38 or VY 41 USC 38 in the greatest college football game ever. QB is the most important position on the field and I have never heard anyone say "Sure they won the Superbowl but their quarterback is great." Vince Young didnt win the Heisman but defeated two trophy winners on same team. Maybe your right, the Trojans, i mean Leinartbushes were the better team.
I never said that THIS years defense was great but its the best in Big 12 and made plays and caused turnovers. Versus the big teams that NOBODY shut down, they held them in check except for first half in Lubbock.And believe me if OU played @ TT at that time they would have had thier hands full as well. Yea, all they played was the most brutal stretch of games this year which no one can deny. OU#1,Mizzou#10,OK State#8,Texas Tech#7 which the BCS system seemed to forget.(Mizz of course is not so impressive now)
My point is, Texas has an A- offense and a B+ defense. OU has A+ offense and C defense. Texas is the BETTER team. They have already proven it on the field! I dont care how much Stoops runs it up on a team that has given up in 4th quarter. Mack Brown has pulled McCoy out in 4th quarter all year, whether people think he is an idiot or not, you cant deny that Bob Stoops looked like a total dickbag running up and down the sideline trying to score 60 late in the Big 12 Championshit game.Choklahoma will get it done again and embarass big 12 with a 5th str8 bowl loss.

Yea, surprise surprise I honestly felt Colt got screwed again. I didnt want to post a predictable rant again because im sure no one here cares. Bradford has more weapons to work with and Colt did so much on his own and led the team in rushing and of course beat Bradfords team. Saturday night was just another jab in the gut for Texas fans.
Speaking of love affairs what is the fascination with OU and USC. They get every benefit of the doubt.
